Objectives of HKMOOC

HKMOOC is a collaborative project funded by the University Grants Committee's Teaching and Learning Funding Scheme in Hong Kong. We provide an e-learning platform for all UGC institutions to offer high quality FREE online courses to students globally, and in particular, to Hong Kong students from UGC institutions as well as self-financed tertiary institutions and all secondary schools. The continued operation of the HKVU programme is currently supported by several teaching and learning projects in HKUST.

We also offer different programs that allow students to learn multiple courses online in their own pace within a certain schedule. An electronic certificate will be awarded if students completed and fulfilled the passing requirements of the program.

Most of the courses are self-paced, which means you can always go back to the platform and continue learning according to your study progress.
